[01] accidental video
[ The screen flickers in and out until the static finally subsides, and finally it shows a clear picture -- or as clear a picture as it can show. The camera shows a view of the Cherrygrove City Pokemon center, but the camera is aimed at a very low angle, as if someone or something very small is holding it, and the lights are dim, as if on emergency backup power. Soon, the camera swivels around to land on a particular trainer, or rather a breeder - a sixteen year old boy with blonde hair and bright blue eyes, dressed in very trendy looking clothes with a pink theme. He's singing into a microphone enthusiastically, and the song is fun and energetic sounding. It seems like the performance is almost over, though. ]
"Just running away is something I don't understand! 'Don't give up!' That's my awesome self! Even if we were to separate, it's so strong, I'll continue loving you!"
[ Upon decent applause from the audience, he grins brightly, giving a thumbs up as he leaves the makeshift stage, and heads in the direction of the camera. ]
You got it working, Haru? Great! I hope it recorded everything!
That was a fun way to pass the time, right? And the music helps keep everyone calm too, it looks like.
[ the camera shifts to show him patting a Ralts on the head, who coos at him. ]
Yeah, it's annoying that this crazy snowstorm blew in, but we just have to wait it out! And then we can begin our very own journey to find my friends, if they're here! After all, it's not like something like this is going to stop us, right? At least, hopefully we'll be fine... wait, no, I know we'll be fine!
[ he studies the Pokegear now, and then notices it doesn't seem like it was just recording video... ]

Haruka is here as well. There hasn't been any sign of the others.
The lady and I are in a place called Goldenrod City. Shinomiya should be on his way here, but I haven't heard of him in a while.

It's the best city in Johto, of course we're here.
I've seen the news and have no plans of going near those things.

Isn't that a really huge city? Nanami is bound to get lost there! And I don't think she'd settle down someplace like that herself --

She's with me so she'll bee fine. I won't let her get lost or distressed while she's here.
Once you and Shinomiya come here and the weather becomes more pleasant, you can take her to a quieter and nicer city if she'd like to go.
[He'd remain in Goldenrod and possibly keep Team Rocket from going after her. There were still things he needed to do anyway.]
It takes around two weeks to get here. If you head west from Violet City there's a shorter path through National Park. Use that and you don't need to worry about Union Cave or Ilex Forest.

[ It's said almost as a passing thought, but now that he thinks about it, he wouldn't have subjected Natsuki to that kind of storm. ]
