Other: I am an Autistic rper.
This will highly affect how I communicate on a day-to-day basis as well as how I write Syo -
Please be aware I am writing from the view as someone diagnosed Autistic since my early childhood/I am Early Diagnosed.
In general, I tend to communicate using "Direct speech" and overall prefer this in most cases, but I may also default back to "Plain language" especially if I'm genuinely confused about something, and typically will attempt to ask for clarification if I am to make communication easier.
I tend to describe myself in the "I am Autistic" format rather than "person with Autism".
As long as these details can be respected, then I am fine with attempting plotting most anything so long as communications between us can remain respectful!
When I type like this format for my RP writing, I am typing using formal speech.
Outside of this format, I may type with excitement and general keysmashing - please let me know if you personally would appreciate things like tone indicators!
On my own level I do not always need them, and respectfully ask they not be used with me by default.

Tumblr Contact: aph-japan is my multifandom/archival blog since 2011;

Character

Character Name: Syo Kurusu (pronounced as "Sho{u}", with a longer "u" sound)
Canon: Uta no Prince-sama
Canon Point: Syo will {have been initially in CRAUs} played as if coming from the "Love Route" endings of Repeat and Sweet Serenade (the "Repeat" fandisk for the S Class among other characters), with just the very beginnings of Debut (after meeting the senpais, so he will have basic knowledge of his own senpai; Ai Mikaze). Post the CRAUs and having kept memories coming into Seasons, Syo will be played as if remembering those events while from an early~mid "Live Emotion" timeframe. By the earlier Shining Live, Syo is old enough to drive legally going by Japanese ages. Thus, Syo will be brought in as an age of 21+, and not yet married to anyone despite being in a steady relationship with Haruka in Syo's routes of "Shining Live" and "Live Emotion". By "Live Emotion", Syo will be aware of the group Heavens, but unfamiliar of them on a more personal level; they are more like co-workers and rivals as professionals than friends to this Syo.
Age: 23 going on 24 {birthday: June 9th, same as Natsuki's if different years}
Height: 161 cm canonically at earliest/age 15; hasn't grown much since
Weight: 52 kg or around 115 lbs/pounds; hasn't changed much since
Season: Winter
Flower: Darker pink Cherry blossom (closer to Syo's preferred pink than not, but a more natural shade)
Network UN: fightingprincesyo

{Official Profile} Favorites
Food: Dairy Products such as yogurts and cheeses.
Drink: Energy Drinks
Dessert: Puddings (Banana flavored and other fruits)
Hobby: Shopping (Nagoya, Syo's home location has one of Japan's largest shopping districts located in Sakae)
Disliked Food: Wasabi

If you were a former player from Route 29 circa January to summer 2013
or your character was aware of someone{s} who was such;
or in Holly Heights circa May to late August 2013, Syo may be aware of your characters played there
if they ever had any interactions with Syo, other Uta no Prince-sama cast members, or if others from your character's canons mentioned them around Syo.
Please contact me and ask me if you are uncertain if I remember you or characters you played, and I will let you know.

Syo has basic knowledge of the world of Pokemon's Kanto & Johto areas,
including major cities/towns, thanks to past involvement in Route 29, a Pokemon based game.
Syo may have some basic knowledge of involved Kanto characters too, aside from the more obscure Gym Leaders.

{"About" section of my application copied from Route 29 & Lightly Modified/Canon Updated}:

Syo Kurusu (also formerly spelled by the fandom as "Sho{u}" with a longer "u" sound, officially written in most official materials as "Syo", but is pronounced the same way as "Shou" with the "h" sound) is/was a student at Saotome Academy, a school known for those who excel at composing and performing music. Syo has light blond hair and bright blue eyes, and wears very "trendy" clothes, sporting a unique style that relates to the sense of self. Syo's known for wearing (typically "hot", but also including other shades, including pastel and pale ones, like cherry blossom) pink themed clothing, as well; (the "hot" or darker) pink is the themed color of Syo's "Starish" band outfit{s} overall in most official media. At Saotome Academy, Syo is in the "S Class", which consists mostly of advanced level students who have either already proven their skills or show great potential (Syo seems to fall more into the latter, while crossing over both; as Syo's violin playing skill level is recognized by those who know of it, including by Tokiya Ichinose later on). Syo is generally, to those who know Syo well, very cheery, energetic, optimistic, and brave, willing to take risks even when deathly afraid, and tries Syo's best more than "anyone else" on a Utapri-canonical level. But in a bad mood, which can show on a bad (+health) day or when people continuously push Syo's patience/anxieties (something that happens often around Natsuki Shinomiya), Syo can be (much) more pessimistic, rash, argumentative, and loud.

Syo enjoying reading fan letters addressed to Syo while quietly relaxing, surprisingly pensive to a point Natsuki
directly comments on how happy Syo seems in this state.

Fortunately, the friends Syo keeps around tend to balance Syo's moods later on, and Syo remains generally optimistic despite this overall. Syo's default state when at home tends to be pensively quiet, focusing on Syo's interests like the "Prince of Fighting" drama series starring Ryuuya Hyuuga (who is also Syo's personal "Idol", a great source of inspiration for Syo); working on music, etc; and Syo's concentration concerning the matter can be quite great when Syo gets serious. The loudness tends to come in when others come into Syo's personal space or break Syo's routines.

Syo attempts to show Natsuki the appeal of Hyuuga's series, "Prince of Fighting";
Natsuki doesn't Get It as closely as Syo does, but still appears to enjoy it/be excited by it
& when Natsuki shows even basic appreciation for it, Syo is later excited in turn

after Natsuki notices Syo reading fan letters:
"I'm sure you’ll work it out..." - Syo, trying to reassure Natsuki on a dilemma, deflecting/tsundere-like

{Gifs Credit: [x]}

when Eiichi Ootori {of Heavens} gets a little Too Personal with Haruka,
trying to forcibly grab Haruka's hand, Syo immediately intervenes,
smacking Eiichi's hand away instantly and without regret

In terms of Utapri's usages of the Japanese honorifics system, Syo calls everyone "casually" by their first names, compared to everyone else from Starish who variates in first names basis usage; and with Haruka particularly, seems to call Haruka by first name from the start and "just keeps it". However, in Syo's case, it may seem "over-casually" for some characters initially - Syo in the gamesverse initially speaks using an "Ore-sama" type of speech pattern, and demands Haruka address Syo with "ouji" {"Prince"} (also invoking the "Prince" part of Uta no Prince-sama's title), making Haruka into something like a (seemingly willing) "Prince's servant". This dynamic would soon evolve as Syo goes through character development in the Games route, to become less of a demanding "Prince" type and much more of a compassionate person.

Regarding Syo's speech patterns in the Japanese version:

Syo's usage of the Aichi Prefecture dialect speech pattern:
Go go go. Aichi (mostly Nagoya) is know for its booms. Culture booms, industrial boom and everything in between. It is considered fast paced because of its booms.
A clash of styles because of its locations between Tokyo {mainly represented by Otoya, but also Ai [if with a lisp] and to a degree Reiji Kotobuki ["Tokyo Dialect but not"]} and Osaka.
People from here are {"seeming"} considered head strong and ambitious.

Linguistics of Aichi dialect patterns:
Nagoya dialect is considered rough and nasal. Is a mish-mash of Kansai and Kanto dialects. Some Kansai dialect speakers state that people from Nagoya sound {"sassy"/"confident"/"sure"}
{(I tend to interpret more as the last two, with Syo speaking with a type of Certainty.}

(Everyone of Starish speaks using a particular dialect from their differing home prefectures, and Syo is no different!)

Syo in Games verse, Repeat, Syo Route, Kaoru's Complex "Implications"

In the games, Syo had a pre-existing, unnamed heart condition since Syo was born, which is a huge factor that shapes Syo's personality and eventual goals. The condition would cause Syo to frequently pass out from over-exertion/exhaustion (described in-universe as "Syo's heart" being "over-excited", typically mostly around Haruka) or even, within the gameverse especially and acknowledged canonically as, have seizures whenever he was overly excited or over-exerted self, even outside Syo's relationship with Haruka. In October during Cecil's route, Kaoru Kurusu, Syo's twin brother, verbally acknowledged Syo was "seizing" during a crisis moment.

Syo in Games verse, Syo Route, feeling an attack coming on

Syo entered the school to follow Syo's idol, Ryuuya Hyuuga, who would eventually be Syo's teacher in the S Class. This is despite the fact Syo's heart condition should/could have prevented Syo from doing so in the longer term. Syo continuously pushes Syo's own self to the limit to attempt (key word) to ""overcome it"" so Syo can become an idol. Syo was bedridden/more literally, bedbound for much of Syo's early life and would constantly privately cry and curse Syo's own self about Syo's heart condition - a stark contrast to how Syo acts at the school and around virtually anyone else in any other situation, pretending Syo's fine and ""not bothered"" by it; almost forced by Syo's own self to "mask" Syo's own emotions on the matter; constantly showing a cheery side and trying to "remain brave" - even if Syo definitely doesn't always feel that way.

Syo in Games verse; Debut, Syo Route, feeling worry at being inadequate at songwriting with Haruka
and concern over own situations+abilities in general

One of Syo's biggest motivations is eventually undergoing surgery that would cure Syo's heart disease, presumed as much as possible to prevent a relapse. In Uta no Prince-sama: Repeat, there are three variations of how that happens. In the Friend ending, it's ~~magically cured~~. In the Love ending with Haruka Nanami, the game's protagonist who Syo would eventually fall in love with, Haruka flies with Syo to America and the surgery is successful. The two would then have a typical "happy" ending. In the "Great Love" ending, Haruka thinks Syo's flight back to Japan had crashed based on a news report, but it turns out Syo got an earlier flight so Syo could return to Haruka as soon as possible. Three months before Syo had been out of contact with Haruka, however, because Syo had been undergoing the unknown-to-Haruka-to-be "successful" heart surgery. Being out of touch with the one Syo loved for that long while Syo underwent the surgery shows Syo had a great determination for success regardless of whatever setbacks there were and an unstated promise to own self to live.

Syo in the "Love" Ending after Heart operation, in America with Haruka

Syo in the "Great Love" ending of Repeat in comparison; "returning" from presumed death

In the games, Syo has a younger twin sibling named Kaoru. Kaoru came to visit the Academy in "Repeat", but would constantly fret about Kaoru's sibling due to Syo's heart condition. Kaoru'd frequently push, much to Syo's chagrin for Syo to get the necessary surgery, as well, regardless if Haruka witnessed the moment or not later on (initially, Kaoru doesn't know that Haruka even knew, however, much less anyone else). Kaoru is described to canonically have a "sibling complex" for Syo as a result of those actions, but seems to be working on overcoming it/forgetting about it as much by the later games, while still caring strongly for Syo. At one point, Kaoru is described to have an unnamed "girlfriend", whose canon design/name is undetermined/unshown. Syo doesn't seem to have many particularly strong feelings on this fact, but does seem a bit surprised initially that Kaoru managed to seeming "settle down". Despite that, Kaoru doesn't let up on reminding Syo to take care of Syo's health, if much less frequently and more politely between family now.

Kaoru rushes to greet Syo at the academy in the Games verse, Syo's Route of Repeat,
after not having seen Syo for part of the year pre-October

The complex is portrayed to an extreme in Cecil Aijima's "Repeat" route, when music disappears from the world and a so-called "Satan" possesses Syo. Kaoru appears then as an extremely over-protective brother of a de-aged (Kaoru remains at the current age at this stage) five year old Syo, holding Syo's memories captive in a box that would explode if opened wrongly, reminiscent of the "Pandora's Box" trope. Syo is eventually assisted by Ryuuya, who intervenes to try and move Syo out of the way, and thensome saved by Haruka. Despite this sibling complex, Syo seems to tolerate and get along with Kaoru and cares about Kaoru strongly as well - they don't have many issues that impact their sibling relationship other than the brother complex, other than having slightly stiff emotions around each other when moments are tense. At one point, Kaoru does try to interfere in Syo's by-then canonical relationship with Haruka, but Syo and Haruka eventually resolve this problem peacefully with Kaoru, and "all is well".

Imagery of Haruka and Cecil face off against Satan, likely similar when saving Syo

Thus, in the games, Syo's main weakness was the heart condition which Syo even cursed Syo's own self over and tried to surpass.

Syo in Games verse, Syo Route, before the others find out {only Haruka knows}

In the anime, the heart condition wasn't covered, and instead Syo was given a great fear of heights that usually had the same result as the condition: causing Syo to pass out. (This fear of heights was actually Otoya Ittoki's fear in the games.) While Syo does keep a bit of this fear of heights in my characterization, it mainly is related to the general anxieties Syo can feel on a day-to-day basis, and less the "primary symptom", and a little less overblown than it was in the anime. Syo, regardless within the anime, also undergoes many attempts to overcome this "fear", involving the help of even ridiculous methods like hypnotism by the headmaster Saotome. Syo wanted to overcome this fear because Syo was interested in an acting role for a top movie alongside Syo's idol, teacher, and greatest inspiration, Ryuuya Hyuuga.

{gif source: x}

However, Syo was disappointed when Syo found out it was meant for a female co-star. Despite this, Syo's friends even tried to dress Syo up as a girl to encourage, but it nearly didn't work by that point due to Syo's annoyance at the dress. Syo is known to actually look very cute as a cross-dresser despite Syo's dislike of it however, and canonically in the games, Syo eventually begins to take canon advantage of this fact by taking crossdressing jobs part-time when Syo can tolerate such as a result.

Syo in Gamesverse, Natsuki's Route, as "Yui Kosoba" during a "Part-time job"
{aka: often "duties" or requests given to Syo by Syo's twin, Kaoru}

Syo's other special skills include singing with a generally loud, expressive, energetic/enthusiastic voice; and Syo has played the violin on a professional level alongside Natsuki since Syo was young, attending violin competitions alongside Natsuki in the games. Syo's shown to be quite advanced at both, which leads Syo to being placed in the S Class. Overall, Syo is very well rounded as an idol, even if Syo may be regarded as a lower level compared to "the greats" (Tokiya, Natsuki, Ren, Ryuuya, Ringo, Quartet Night including/especially Ai, who tends to remind Syo of the fact Syo doesn't quite measure up to Ai's skill level just yet).

However, in the games it's revealed Syo actually gave up on the violin - because Syo considered Natsuki to be ""~~a genius~~"" at playing it compared to Syo ; which led Syo to label Natsuki as Syo's personal "rival". Natsuki seems to go along with this dynamic at Natsuki's whim, but tends to show some disappointment at not being acknowledged more fondly by Syo earliest on. There were points where, in the games universe Syo would attempt to play it again but in the end, decided Syo would sing "as an idol"; as in a well-rounded idol, wanting to sing Haruka's songs, one who could not just sing but also dance cooly, along with choreographing it in "Debut"; write music professionally including alongside Haruka, etc.

Syo in Games verse, Syo's Route, attempting violin again at school, witnessed by Haruka

At the end of the anime, one of Syo's goals was to confess Syo's own, incredibly strong love to Haruka. Haruka couldn't choose from the various main characters that confessed, however. Instead, Haruka's final decision led to the creation of a musical group of idols known as "Starish" (originally "St*rish" - the "A" tends to be obscured or represented by a star-shaped symbol) - sponsored by Shining Saotome, the headmaster of the school's own self. Syo is last seen happily performing together with Syo's now-co-workers and friends in "Starish". Cecil Aijima would later join their group of idols by the second season - Cecil's whimsical side and Cecil's actions of proclaiming obvious feelings for Haruka clashing with Syo's pessimism and own strong feelings early on, to the point where Syo appears to dislike Cecil more than anyone else in the group; but later they'd perform together on an extremely strong co-operative level despite this. In the games, they get along on overall decent terms despite the anime development, and Shining Live especially shows strong developments in their relationship as co-workers and maybe even as friends.

Finally, one of Syo's motivations for a future family (potentially with Haruka, were Haruka to end up with Syo) include an older "son" and a "daughter", or in general two children. Syo'd like the "son" older so the "daughter" would have a "big brother" (someone they can depend on and call as "onii-chan"). That possibly reflects on Syo's own status as an older brother to Kaoru. This doesn't necessarily mean it's what will occur for them - but in general, Syo seems to want to have a family that will strongly support each other on emotional levels.

About Syo's CRAU{s} : Route 29 and Holly Heights {both circa 2013}

Syo formerly played against Route 29!Ren [personal profile] saxsongs and Masato [personal profile] pianosongs in Route 29 around January to late June~early summer 2013, as part of a slightly larger Utapri cast (sans Cecil), mainly of Starish members but a couple Quartet Night members drifted in between including in Holly Heights. There was no interaction between Syo and any Heavens members during these times - and in the AU Syo comes from, Syo will not know them "well", just vaguely within the Live Emotion verse. Ren and the others can possibly {"re"-}introduce Syo later on should it ever need to happen in-game or just ICly, as Ren comes from a later part of the anime timeline.
In Holly Heights, Syo came from an early summer~end of summer timeframe of the same 2013, but knowing a different Haruka ([personal profile] playbyear) there. In this CRAU, Syo was from the games, but Natsuki ([personal profile] true_gemini), Tokiya, Otoya, Ai, Reiji, for example mainly came from the anime - these were the ones Syo mainly knew there.
In Route, the cast mainly consisted as first Ren and Haruka, then Syo and Natsuki arrived together, then Masato not long after; then Tokiya and Otoya both briefly joined later on, so Syo essentially got to interact with the whole of Starish there, even if most aside from Ren had to leave not long after Tokiya and Otoya's arrival.

In Route, Ren was the only one from the seeming (to gameverse!Syo) "future" of Starish forming, while Haruka was still on the (anime version)'s school trip, Masato was on the same school trip but slightly after Haruka ("still trying to see who 'Nanami' would choose for the final"), and Natsuki was also from before the final, but not specifically the school trip, and had memories of hanging out with Starish and "Syo" just before arriving. Masato did not have knowledge of events that happened after late October through November, when Syo's heart condition came more to light, so Masato only learnt about it through Route events, along with the rest. Syo does not tell any of them in the games initially except for Haruka finding out during the later half of the year, but then Natsuki manages to find out in the "Friend Route" endings too.

Syo was apprehensive at first about initially unknown to Syo canon point differences, and began to doubt if Syo's experiences and essentially life as a whole were "real" when everyone else remembered a different "connecting" timeline from Syo. Later on, towards game end, Syo was beginning to accept the circumstances and have more self compassion for Syo's situation{s} and specific realities, especially once reaching Pallet Town and having briefly "met" Red's mother, who continued to have been equally as vague (including regarding mentioning Red) as she was in the Gold/Silver & Crystal games.

In Route, Syo mainly hung out and travelled with Natsuki ([personal profile] gemini_prince, who also had a hidden Satsuki side still within as this happens before Season 3 of the anime), while a different Haruka travelled alongside Ren and Masato (Haruka, Ren & Masato "working for" Team Rocket generally acting as spies, albeit unwillingly on Haruka's part) before Syo and Natsuki's later arrival. Ren, meanwhile, was much deeper involved on a personal level and never truly let Syo in on everything that had been going on with Ren including emotionally, not for lack of effort of trying to find out "where {Jinguuji} was" on Syo's part. Syo was extremely worried for Haruka's situation at first in Route, but slowly began to approve of Haruka's developing relationships with the other Starish members (even Ren), even if Syo never fully understood "everything that had changed" in between their earliest shared canon points and then. In Route, one conflict between Syo and Ren was only Ren was initially told why Syo gave up the violin, and it caused some internal stress on Syo's part (after a particularly stressful, and emotional conflict involving an almost-kiss from "Satsuki" {+Natsuki}, along with Syo's heart rate going haywire) that Ren didn't fully comprehend the impacts of due to their canon point differences, among other things. Syo would retain memories of this event as well, even if Ren doesn't, and may inform Ren of it down the road.

In Holly Heights' CRAU, Syo arrived around the same days as Otoya, (Otoya came from right after an event held with the orphanage kids from Otoya's orphanage grown up in that Starish was aware of by then) and thus they were assigned to a "home" together as the ""children"", due to not being 18 yet, albiet not exactly children either. Syo was understandably frustrated by this and (privately to self) vowed to look into if Syo could obtain a spousal role the second Syo hit 18th birthday, which was still to be pretty sooner rather than later regardless. Unfortunately, this did not come to pass, but Syo did get to celebrate a birthday with Natsuki in-game. Natsuki was assigned to the house as the parent (while very much not acting like one) and meanwhile, Starish shenanigans ensued.

In Holly Heights, during their birthdays, Otoya gifted Syo and Natsuki new versions of their own instruments (violin for Syo) with matching case; Syo also has replacement strings left over from maintaining it in Holly Heights. Syo will be bringing this one in for the CRAU, but at home, Syo had an original violin since playing professionally in childhood that Syo kept in as pristine condition as possible with continued, dedicated maintaining. During their birthday in Holly Heights, Natsuki also gifted in-person a new fedora hat for Syo and a fashionable bracelet - these will be what Syo also will be wearing coming into Seasons. (The image for the hat died since - I will choose an appropriate one reflecting the current styles in "Shining Live"/"Live Emotion").

{The image for the bracelet also died recently, but I was able to see it again briefly before this happened - it's very close to the studded bracelet Syo wears in earlier games CGs and essentially as a part of Syo's "main"/"default" outfit/fashion, like the black and silver-studded one, but instead of just black, it also has dark blue rounded edges to give it a kick of subdued color. Syo will be keeping this bracelet as mainly a memento of Holly Heights specific!Natsuki, but also has other bracelets from home on upon arrival, as Syo typically wears them day-by-day.}

Another item being brought in is a pair of goggles that Natsuki bought in Holly Heights, that wound up with Syo at the house when Natsuki left; they have little chicks on the side, and can be a good set of temporary replacement prescription for Natsuki should a Natsuki later join and then break or lose Natsuki's glasses. Otherwise, the goggles are being kept as sentimental value; the chicks remind Syo of Natsuki's love for "Piyo-chan", a mascot character in their world resembling a chick - Natsuki tended to collect similar chick items as a result of loving this mascot. Syo won't often be wearing them on own, but someone may catch Syo in the act of having it perched on head or holding it later on, or even just seeing it in Syo's room. A bicycle from Route that was purchased within its Pokemon-based world is also kept, along with Syo's entire Pokemon team.

Within both CRAUs, thus, Syo will be played as if {having been *originally*} coming from the "Love Route" endings of Repeat and Sweet Serenade (the "Repeat" fandisk for the S Class among other characters), with just the very beginnings of Debut (after meeting the senpais, so he will have basic knowledge of his own senpai; Ai Mikaze).

{AMV that I made around 2021 to Natsuki's anime-verse canonical implied song "Tears in Love".}
(Rebloggable on Tumblr here!!)
Artist: Kishou Taniyama
(This gives a starting representation of Syo's past dynamics in Route and Holly Heights,
using the gameverse-based timeline;
later anime scenes are included too, but everything after debuting with Haruka in-games
doesn't happen for this Syo;
however, personality quirks may still be kept from the later anime materials and game materials for keeping characterization consistent!)

The AMV mainly implies a developing Natsuki/Syo dynamic, with bonus side/not at time established relationship Satsuki/Syo,
while Natsuki and Satsuki still "share" a body/mind, as was the case in Route.
Syo/Haruka is included in a polycule-like format;
the whole of Starish is essentially represented as a polycule by end,
with Otoya and Cecil remaining purely platonic.

The aforementioned concert event from Route is implied partway through this AMV,
using Satsuki approaching Syo to represent it.
Later on, the dynamic begins to change when Syo and Natsuki begin to confront each other further...

By later Route and Holly Heights both, Syo's identity was rapidly leaning to discovering about self that Syo just might, in fact, be
(Queer and Polyamorous, and not "just Straight"...)

What may happen in Seasons?!??

- In this universe, Cecil is not involved with them as STARISH;
but because of their close contact by Shining Live and Live Emotion mobile/gacha games,
Natsuki and Cecil collaborate by this point of the headcanon.

- In Holly Heights CRAU,
Otoya, Natsuki, and others aware {but mainly those two}
manage to turn on Syo to the appeal of STARISH (+Cecil's involvement in turn) as a group by the point of a significant concert event.

- Syo had little knowledge of Cecil's involvement going into both games;
during Syo's stay there, especially at Holly Heights,
Syo will learn a lot more about Cecil from Otoya,
even if the paths they all take are different than from the anime.

- Syo also has little personal knowledge of the QUARTET NIGHT members outside of what they show in both Shining Live and Live Emotion games; also as the members rarely show their true personal feelings to the rest of STARISH even in the anime, aside from {barely} Ai.
Their appearances on the album is more as general collaboration, but they do start to slowly befriend Syo, Natsuki, & Haruka all in turn.
Ai has a little more involvement in both Shining Live and Live Emotion, but still mystifies Syo in a lot of ways as Syo hasn't learnt of Ai's Gamesverse backstory here yet, and the true nature of Ai's real "being".
Ai is perceptively aware of Satsuki's presence whenever Satsuki was around, however, and might have made cryptic comments about it to "Natsuki" in the past, but does not seem to consider Satsuki a threat; rather an ally.

- "SATSUKI" is an unfinished song based on the song originally
Stolen & destroyed by Natsuki's unnamed female elementary teacher in the games,
the event that led to Natsuki's personal trauma and Satsuki's appearance thereafter.
Natsuki rewrote the lyrics from memory as best as Natsuki could manage after reconciling personally with Satsuki;
but struggles in finishing the backing track with {Gamesverse!} Haruka,
so there's no backing track at all as it had been left out from this "prototype" compilation CD; it's sung entirely in a capella.
It reads like a cross between an autobiography and a very dedicated love song specifying no specific gender, but also perhaps showing a differing view of "love" than most would expect.
There's probably references to themes involving the moon (Satsuki is often referred to in some lyrics like "Tsuki no Uta"'s using the Japanese for 'Moon', 'Tsuki'), the 'back side of the moon', sand {of the moon['s surface]}, constellations {especially Orion}, stars and space as a general overarching theme...
Syo learns of this song's existence only when Natsuki and Syo collaborate closer together post-Debuting at the end of the Gamesverse "Love Route"; Syo's Route specifically, but doesn't initially know it's what caused "Satsuki" to appear because Natsuki never told Syo until they become closer enough that Natsuki can trust Syo with the information.

- Since the combo/unit of Syo & Natsuki don't have a name given at the end of Gamesverse;
I'm headcanoning it as something that may be obvious for them all, i.e.
using SATSUKI not just as the song title but also as their "duo"/"unit"/"group" name.
Haruka writes for BOTH Syo and Natsuki since this is the "Love Route" end,
while being specifically in a declared relationship with Syo at Syo's canon point.

- Ren will likely fill Syo in on any of the missing songs later!!

- Syo, meanwhile, will be working on trying to help complete "SATSUKI"s backing track on own by attempting to contribute violin to it.

Backtagging: Yes, I am always available for backtagging as long as wanted, unless we mutually agree to handwave a thread
Threadjacking: Yes, but if something extremely significant that can affect/hurt Syo is to happen, maybe better to poke me and ask first. Any pain will leave Syo quite winded in an action thread.
Fourthwalling: Yes, on request/ask me; contacting by Dreamwidth messages is ok too
Mind Reading: Yes, on request/ask me; contacting by Dreamwidth messages is ok too
Touching: Yes, but Syo will instinctively recoil from/fight most touches if Syo's not familiar with you at first, unless you prove yourself to be genuinely friendly and/or respectful of Syo. In canon, Syo reads as a bit touch-repulsed in my mind too; so I will also be playing with this in mind, but feel free to chip away at Syo's barriers!
Shipping/Kissing: Please contact me privately to ask first, especially regarding kissing or surprise kisses. In Syo's canon point brought from, Syo was currently in a steady relationship with Haruka, so that will often be on Syo's mind should anything happen. OOCly, I can be flexible with crossover ships more specifically with characters close in age to Syo, but it's definitely better if I know your canon/character well, so please ask me! (Also, Syo will have a bit of an aversion to women that Syo does not know as well, especially older women. Men are on extremely thin ice around Syo but like, you have more of a chance)
Fighting/Injury: Please contact me privately to ask/plot first! Syo is definitely a fighter, however, and will automatically respond if instigated into a fight, usually in self-defense first before all-out attack. If Syo is attacked, Syo will instantly be protectively guarding Syo's heart region first with blocks, even if Syo's heart may not be as affected in this game.
Character Death: Please contact me privately to ask/plot before assuming I'd be ok with in-game death. If we can plot something out, and everyone's on the same page, I'm definitely much more flexible with this. Syo, however, will absolutely hate it and be very worried about the state of Syo's heart after the fact, so be prepared for that kind of reacting.
