CRAU Details for Route 29:

Most of Syo's Pokemon were bought from other players active in Route that were selling eggs rather than caught in the wild.
Ralts however was Syo's starter, there with Syo from the beginning and named for Syo's then-girlfriend in the original 'verse Syo came from; Haruka Nanami, this Ralts nicknamed "Haru" and at times maybe referred to with "Haru-chan" depending on who Syo's speaking around.
(Natsuki's own self by Route also calls Haruka by "Haru-chan" later on, especially around Syo.)

Riolu was Syo's second Pokemon gained at the very start of Syo's arrival too; named almost automatically for Syo's twin brother Kaoru.
It was there even before Syo met up with Natsuki not long after Syo's waking up the first time.
(Syo probably bought it from a Trainer through the Network that very first night while at the center.)
Syo, Natsuki and the first two Pokemon of Syo's all arrived during a day where the evening eventually turned into a snowstorm outside, as they had all accidentally arrived during an in-game event unknown to them.
So everyone was slightly delayed in both getting out of the center (Syo, Natsuki)
and venturing out into the Pokemon world as a whole (Kaoru the Riolu.)
Once they do, Syo's own Adventure finally begins!

Meowth is known for and described by Syo as "being a little strange" for Meowth.
It tends to push Syo with how comfortable Syo may be with it, as if testing how Syo will respond to it.
Overall it's quite calm however, and can often be found napping.

Syo's Cubone is a loner-type just like many Cubones. It tends to hide-away in its Pokeball.
Syo brings it out to feed and train it every so often however, trying to coax it out of hiding so much.
Syo never really got to actually tell Ren directly about it being named for Ren; but Ren was maybe-aware of it at some point regardless.
Maybe Ren saw Syo feeding it or something during one of the times they met up?

In general, most of Syo's Pokemon get along with Syo pretty well, though all of them stay in their Pokeballs.
Hayato the Meowth probably stays outside of its ball at "home"s the most, but it will return where wanted.
Natsuki's Eevee "Elizabeth" was shocked at one point when it realized most of Syo's Pokemon kept to their Pokeballs,
but they're really quite comfy. It helps that Syo treats them so kindly and feeds them well,
and also lets them stretch their legs where needed.

At one point, Syo's shiny Ditto mated with almost all Syo's Pokemon currently on hand at least once,
producing a huge batch of eggs that were probably all given away if not with remainders left at Route when Syo left.
It's named for Ringo Tsukimiya, a character and the teacher of the "A Class"
(Natsuki, Otoya & Masato's class) who canonically is an undercover crossdresser idol in the gamesverse.
It tends to act a little clingy towards Syo, but Syo tries to reassure it there's nothing to be afraid of.
Just as Syo explained Syo wouldn't leave it behind; Ringo the Ditto now remains with Syo in Seasons.

In Route 29, Syo was originally a Breeder, albeit a very new-to-the-semantics one,
Syo slowly began to learn the ropes over time, taking a "learn-as-you-go" approach.
